Increase Productivity by Axing Stress in the Office
Besides being bad for your health, stress can negatively impact your performance on the job. Try some of these techniques to cope with the inevitable stress you encounter in the office:

Squeeze it: Believe it or not, stress balls actually work. The act of tensing your muscles and releasing them by squeezing the ball reduces your heart rate.

Go deep: Deep breathing will reduce adrenaline, which increases your heart rate and blood pressure. Spend a few minutes deeply inhaling through the nose, holding, then exhaling back out the nose.

Get pumped: Physical activity is one of the best ways to release tension, as well as endorphins that naturally make you feel better. Activities such as pushups or jumping jacks during breaks at the office are a great substitute.

Get an early start: Getting to the office 10 or 15 minutes earlier gives you a chance to casually ease into work rather than hitting the ground running. Starting the day off calmly allows you to get off to a stress-free start.
